Mangrove Project Site Visit

The PAFP national officers represented by Dr. Ceasar Palma and Dr. Josephine Dizon, Regional Directors of Southern Luzon and NCR respectively, visited us to inspect our entry to the PAG ASA award which is the mangrove project. This was Thursday, August 30, 2018. Our group (Dra. Petrola, Dra. Fernandez, Dra. Rafael, and Dr. Rivera) met them at Maxines Restaurant in Alaminos at 11am that day. We had lunch and during that time, we introduced ourselves. They took pictures of us and interviewed us regarding the project and our personal work. For leisure, we asked them to have island hopping with us in Hundred Islands before we finally visited the mangrove site. It is so much fun doing work and leisure at the same time.

For our transportation service that day, we had Melody Bautista of MG Prime.

This mangrove project which was initiated by Dr. Simon Brown who was the chapter president in the year 2001-2003 will be presented in the mid-year convention in Bohol on September 14, 2018 as our entry to the PAG ASA award. Please attend the oral presentation and please wear plain green blouse/polo/shirt and black pants. This is to show unity and for us to have impact in the eyes of the judges. See you all there!
