For members who are still not aware, our Postgraduate Course this year is tentatively set on August 10. The officers are doing their best to meet the deadline of submission of PRC requirements in order to not move the schedule to another date.
As of this writing, there is just one slot left for lecture. This is the 4:00-5:00 p.m. time slot. Please help us fill the void by asking interested pharma companies to join. They might also be interested in joining by just having a booth inside the venue. Thank you all!

World Family Doctors Day 2018
As Family Doctors, or as Family Physicians, we invite all members of PAFP Pangasinan Chapter to celebrate the day with us. We are going to have Zumba at Pantalan, Alaminos City on May 19, 2018, a Saturday, at 6 a.m.
Most of you might be asking right now "Why there?". Well, a few months back, Dr. Carlos Prudencio suggested that we hold a board meeting in Western Pangasinan. And this is it! We will be having the board meeting after the said activity.
So for all those interested, please join us on that day for the Zumba. Your family can also join us do the Zumba.Help us shout to the world that Family Doctors exist. See you there!

Board Meeting for April 2018 and Chapter Officers' Induction
We had our board meeting before the Chapter Induction began on Thursday, April 12, 2018. In that meeting, we decided on the activity to be performed on World Family Doctors Day and we narrowed it down to Zumba (again!). I have the perception that majority of the Chapter officers love to move and so Zumba it is.
We also talked about the Postgraduate Course for this year - the cost of preregistration and onsite registration for doctors and allied professionals, the available slots for lectures, etc.

What is World Family Doctors Day? Why do we keep on celebrating it? WFDD is the day for Family Doctors like us. It is our day! We celebrate it in order that the world will know about us. It is because not all patients know the difference between Family Doctors and other specialties. We have to let them know that we exist.
After the board meeting, we proceeded with the CME activity. We had the privilege to have Dr. Crispino Ibuan, Jr. as the lecturer. Then after the lecture was the induction proper. Our Executive Secretary, Dr. Karin Estepa-Garcia, arrived on time for the induction. Dr. Aurora Espinoza, member of the national board of directors, was also there.
It was a successful and happy evening with most of the officers ending the day's activity with a dance number.

Reminders: Chapter Induction and Mid-year Convention
Reminding all members to please attend the induction of new set of officers for the year 2018-2019. This event will be held on April 12, 2018, 6 p.m. , at Lenox Hotel, Dagupan City.
Reminding you also of the mid-year convention at Henann Hotel, Panglao, Bohol, on September 13-15, 2018. Deadline for pre-registration is on May 31, 2018.
