Board Meeting for the month of June

We had our board meeting on June 14, 2017 at Lenox Hotel. It was attended by 11 officers of the Pangasinan Chapter. It was a very productive evening.

Module on Neuropathic Pain

Our first module for this year was held on June 9, 2017 at Star Plaza Hotel, Dagupan City. Our topics were Neuropathic Pain with Dr. Juvy Asuncion as the speaker, and Enhance delivery of patient education thru appropriate communication strategy with Dr. Arlette S. Samaniego as the speaker. There were 26 attendees that evening.

Lay Fora on Influenza

To raise public awareness on Influenza, a lay for a was conducted on June 8, 2017 at Sison, Pangasinan. We had the privilege to have as our speaker our very own Dr. Marijen B. Uy.

Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid

As part of the advocacy of the PAFP "Kalusugan ng Pamilya Mo, Aalagaan  Ko," a cervical cancer screening using Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid (VIA) was conducted on May 30, 2017 at Sison, Pangasinan. A total of 183 married women of reproductive age were screened.

World Family Doctors Day Celebration 2017 (Zumba)

After the lecture on Depression by Dr. Rachel U. Acosta, our group had Zumba, a highly aerobic fitness program. We believe that Zumba provides the necessary social aspect that can help combat depression and can ultimately improve the overall well-being of a person.
