Whereas, the Philippine Academy of Family Physicians is one of the Eight (8) specialty societies
recognized by the Philippine Medical Association.

Whereas, being a specialty society, it would be desirable if majority of its members would be specialists (meaning Diplomates) in Family Medicine.
